Details of your catches:

The weather was not good but I managed 38 carp including 4 x 40s to 44lb, 12 x 30s to 39lb, My nephew, Ryan Cooper, managed 15 carp including 1 x 44lb 3 x 30s to 37.11lb. Not bad for a 14 year old.... as you can see by the look in his face in the pic I have attached - ecstatic is an understatement!!!! My friend, Mike Aughey, managed 4 fish a 56lb mirror, 45lb mirror and a 45lb common. Unbelievable considering he only managed 4 fish. Would I swap my 38 for his 4 is the question.....

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Quest Baits Special Crab 18mm wrapped in paste. Quest Bait hemp, corn and pellets. Caught using Snakeskin gold links and Korda widegape hooks size 4.. All fished to the far bank.

Details of your catches:

43 fish in total including 40lb and 44.5lb mirrors, 5x 30's mirrors, 8x 25lb+.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Anything works here, boilies, fake corn. It does not get much easier than this to fish.

General Comments:

The toilets were too far away from the lake for my party, would be nice to have a toilet of some kind on the lake. I always wanted to fish Boux and hope to return there in the future.

Details of your catches:

Too many to mention. Biggest 41.8 common, 39.8 mirror, 35lb grass carp, 2x koi carp. Also caught a few thirties, loads of twenties and some doubles.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Best tactics for Boux was pop up sweetcorn over small regular baited area. Boated out to the far bank, 4ft of water. Bright coloured baits worked the best (yellow).
