I had not started fishing until Sunday, catch details are as below;Sunday: 23m, 29G, 31m, 41.4c, 40.4m, 15c, 13.8c, 13c and 29c.Monday: 23m, 14c, 10c, 20.8m, 24.4m, 36.4m, 24.4c, 19.8c and 11c.Tuesday: 19.12c, 23.12m, 34.12m, 29m, 33.8m, 18.4c, 20.4m and 16.12cWednesday: 40.4m, 41.8m, 21.8m and 26.8c (only fished from 6pm-midnight this wednesday)Thursday: 25.8m, 18.8m, 29.4m, 49.8m, 23.4m and 18m.Did not fish Friday, I had total of 36 carp banked and lost 12 fish as well.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

On arrival the lake was tidy and the facilities were clean as well.I fished to the long far bank in 5-7 ft depth, bait consited of Quest Baits Rahja spice ans Irish cream Boilies, corn and Hemp which was all prepared by Quest Baits (Thanks to Shaun and team) Simple hair rigs used fished as mainly botton baits, crushed up boilies and mixed with hemp,(Sorry Shaun, may have saved some time rolling them!)Anyway fish absolutely loved them, it worked out that each run was on average every 3 hours!I would class this as an easy water, but would not recommend fishing on your own, as at times fishing was hectic.

General Comments:

Fishing was difficult, it was icy cold, a lot of rain and hail.

At start the water temperature was 6 degrees it raised to 10 degrees to the end of the week.

we had aprox 2000 pound of fish 92 fish in total including 4 40's biggest at 42lb 11 30's 8 being upper 30's 8 upper 20's 18 other 20's 51 fish up to 20lbs awesome weeks fishing

all baits produced well but pop up corn over a small bed of corn was an instant take from boating to the far bank

General Comments:

lake was amaizing fishing but could have been made a bit more fisherman friendly lots of mud which didnt bother me but other members of the group didnt like to much

Roy: 12 x 30's, 14 x 20's and 6 doubles. Bob: 6 x 30's, 6 x 20's and 7 doubles. Dave: 3 doubles.
