General Comments:

Facilities not as advertised, caused a bit of a problem to food budget. A bit small for 5 anglers, but the quality of fish maybe best I've seen.

1 x 41.5 common, 1 x 40.5 mirror, 1 x 38.5 mirror, 1 x 37.5. mirror, 1 x 32.5 mirror, numerous 20's - biggest 28.5, 19lb common, 12lb 5lb.

Fishing off a bed of bait in the shallower water, nothing from deeper water 14ft+.

General Comments:

After the problems of last year we cannot thank you enough! The professional manner in which you dealt with our complaint was second to none! Our week at Boux was fantastic, even though it started slowly with thunderstorms for the first 3 days! We set up & for 3 days just had to sit the weather out. On Wednesday morning Jon & Daren took the boat over to the far side for a couple of hours - they ended up with a 19lb common, followed by a 37.5lb mirror which Jon had to play like a fly-fisherman as his reel broke! On Wednesday evening it went mad! My dad had a run which was a cracking 41.5lb mirror, closely followed by me with a 40.5lb mirror (I did get a 28.5lb in the morning as well). I had 6 fish Wednesday evening including a 38.5lb mirror. Everyone caught a PB, dad's being the largest common, mine being broken twice with the 38.5lb & the 40.5lb. The week ended in blazing sunshine on the Friday, we all returned home with great memories & even a tan! We are now busy contemplating which of your lakes to book next year! Again, many thanks for everything you've done.

105 carp between 3 anglers. 2x 42lb 2oz mirror & common, 13x 30lb+ fish. Loads of 20lb+ fish. Great Lake. Highly recommend this lake.

You will need an extra boat if you fish on the far bank. Cut off from car park.

Details of your catches:

Between us we had plenty of fish - lots over the 20 pound barrier and mostly upper 20's, about 6 or 7 30's up to 38 1/2 and a 47 (I have the exact catch report) and I was just interested to know what the lake record is as we had two sixtys @ 62 pounds on the Monday and Thursday. Absolutely massive!
