A total of 73 fish. 6 under 10lb, 19 doubles, 28 twenties, 15 thirties, 4 forties-one being a magnificant 41lb common and a fifty and a half pound mirror.Total weight was just over 3 quarters of a ton.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Bait. We used pellet for ground bait and either Strawberry or sea fish 15mm boilies on hair rigs.Regular ground baiting with a bait boat proved invaluable.

This was our third year at Boux.This year surpassed previous years. We look forward to 2006.

We had about 120 fish topped with 3 x 40lb plus.

Bed of pellets fished with p.v.a bag, single hook bait, placed rigs.

General Comments:

A great lake if you want to break your PB, 4 out of 5 of us did.

Details of your catches:

Biggest fish 39lb 12oz caught by Tony, we all had 30lb plus apart from 1, there was a good sprinkling of 20's plus some nice doubles to keep us on our toes.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fruit and fgish mix bases baits worked best by far, no need to get complicated all the best fish came to the simplest rigs and less that 50 meters out.

General Comments:

I could go on for hours, but will try not to, we had temperatures into the 30's most days, in England we would have struggled to catch but we managed to get some out, no great numbers but all great fish. Check oyur baits now and again there are a few crayfish but no real problem. Quality fishing. book it now, we will definatly be back again one day.Thanks again from all in our party.

Details of your catches:

55lb mirror, 44lb common, 8 x 30s to 36lb. Including a 32lb grass carp, 12 x 20s to 29lb. Incidently the other 4 members of my party accounted for another 13 fish including a 42lb mirror and 4 x 30s to 35lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

All my fish came from boating my baits to the far margin from the dam wall. Best bait by far was Angling Line Specials 18mm fished snowman style or wrapped in a large ball (golf ball size) of matching paste. At no time was the bait used on more than 3 of the 15 rods fished that week. Yet it accounted for 25 of the 35 fish caught.
