General Comments:

The fish at Brocard Small, that I caught, were all in very good healthy condition. They fought extremely well and when I saw them in the unhooking cradle I was impressed with their scale patterns - they looked (shone) like diamonds.

These fish were in no doubt the best quality and looking ones that I have ever caught during my years of fishing in France. Great week despite the thunderstorms and torrential rain!

Franck is very amiable and welcoming and only too pleased to give advice/information on the fishing of your swim.

General Comments:

The unit with shower and toilet is very good & clean. We had a lot of rain but the underground of the swim makes sure you don't have mud or water on the swim. The fish area on swim 2 is very big.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I fished peg one with it being the only single peg. It would have been nice if this was closer to the shower block as you can not leave your peg.

Details of your catches:

Peg 1 - very well. Peg 2 - poor. Peg 3 - very good. Peg 4 - average. A lot of fish lost due to smashed rigs & big cats. Total 44 fish 45lb grass & 64lb cat.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Boilies and spod mix. Tiger nuts. Long leaders and incorperate pop ups in boily rigs. Bait boats essential as best catches from far bank, peg 2 in particular.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Better

Were you happy with them?

No freezer or fridge, no 24 hr electric to charge bait boat batteries.

*Angling Lines note* There is electricity here to charge your things but it is not on 24/7 as it is from a generator.
