German Rig. Blow Back Rig, on helicopter rigs.
Mainly tiger nuts caught most of the fish, up against the far margin.
Silt not a problem.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, but if Brocard Large is fully booked, then the facilities will be stretched.
2 lakes sharing 1 toilet and 1 shower.
Also the power sockets could be an issue.
No fridge or freezer.
We took a generator for extra power, cooler boxes etc.

The solar power is more then enough and the shower is hot

Were you happy with them?

Overall we where happy as Brocard Large was not being used at the time we were there.

Yes definitely recommend this venue. Mid to late June/July would be best.

Overall a very good and successful trip.

Fish were spawning before we arrived and the weather cooled down which I think made them stop. Still had some good fish. Fished here with my son before on swim 1, this time we fished on swim 4 on the Dam. It gets hot when the suns out which is fine with us

Small baits, fished over maize rather than boilies

Been before, all good, shower is nice and hot

Great venue, fish in very good condition, Frank and Mark are there every day popping in to see how you are getting on

Between the two of us we caught 15 fish from peg 3.
Four pb’s broken.

All fish came from the far bank various places simple combo-rigs size 4 Hobo armour hooks with 30lb N-trap hook link to PB mainline mono 24lb Baits were Sticky Krill Active 20mm singles/doubles/snowman style
Also active bait solutions Hydra K and I-bait doubles

Not quite

They were adequate, one toilet for both lakes!! Shower was good nice hot water

We would definitely come back !! Approximately 71/4 acres per swim so plenty of room for everyone!!

Baited area with house boilies and pellet. Simple snowman presentation.

Yes, have been before. Facilities are more than adequate.

Would highly recommend this venue, but do your swim research. Take a bait boat capable of long distances. The bailiffs are very good. Mark is always a great source of knowledge and Anita is always lovely. Franck makes sure your day to day needs are met.

Yes, angling lines always make things very easy.
