Details of your catches:

Fishing was good, a few fish still spawning late into the season plus a cool breeze from the North meant a slower week than normal

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

18mm cell essentials with 10mm white or pink snowman, had 2 rods fixed for a week resulting in nothing, 1 rod random casts all over producing all the fish

Were the facilities what you expected?

Good hot shower

Were you happy with them?

Yes, long way from the swim so a bike is recommended

General Comments:

Brocard small is a really nice place to fish, we were on peg 1, couldn't hear any noise through the whole week so it felt like you had the lake to yourself. The peg gets hot in the afternoons and is perfect in the evenings. Would be happy to go back and fish again. Frank and Mark are really nice and will assist you with anything you need

All carp are in great condition

Details of your catches:

Due to the unusual high September temperature It was a tough week. It was mainly the Grass Carp and 'BIG' Cats feeding.
Unfortunately we hooked and lost several of the big cats to the trees/snags on both sides of the swim. However this was not an issue with the carp.
We did see some crayfish in the margins but had no issues with them in open water.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

All fish came from the center of the lake. We had to bait heavily due to Catfish and most fish came to brazil nuts.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes

Were you happy with them?

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Great venue, will definitely be back again

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes

General Comments:

Great Venue and Fish. The Bailiff's Franck and Mark were very helpful throughout the week. Our only comment is that there are more 'BIG' Cats (100+) in the lake than anticipated!
