10 carp to 28lb and 7 catfish to 100lb...a great trip!
Also, I didn't fish the nights because I didn't need to. As I was on my own, playing and landing a 70lb cat at night isn't my idea of fun.
The only quiet time of the day was 12pm to 2pm. I should have had 18mm hook baits (my mistake), might have got into bigger carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Standard D rig and 14m Cel or Crab wafter with half pink pop up on top of the boilie.
Fishing tight to any bank guaranteed Cats...fish 2-3 metres off meant you had a better chance of carp.
I fished in left hand swim (Swim 10 I think, by the islands). Its the shallowest end. Cats showed 24x7.

General Comments:

Angling lines were great re changing the ferry... thankyou. The owner was friendly and helpful.
The lake is great, a runs water.
50% of the takes were cats...I lost 6 cats and 1 sturgeon. The site says no braid is allowed...it was! If not using braid, you must have minimum 25lb line and 30lb hook link, otherwise you will lose loads of gear. The 25lb line will not put the carp off. If you're a catfish lover...take 50lb braid and you will smash it up...plus stronger than 3.5lb test curve rods.
A slight annoyance was some very loud music on the farm opposite on the Sunday (I think)...plus the public can turn up easily like a public lake (4 guys even tried fishing whilst I was there)...needs signs up saying private fishery. We had several visitors... there were no issues, just a little weird.

They were basic, but worked ok for us. It isn't advertised that its shower tokens either.
*Angling Lines note* The showers do work on tokens, however at the beginning of the week every angler is given four and more are available free of charge on request. We have now included this on the venue information.

General Comments:

The venue is smaller than we thought it would be 5 acres ?? definitely no more than 4 anglers. The lake edge to the swims could do with some work to them very tired. Also on arrival there were dead fish in the margins. The bailiffs were helpful.

Any dead fish at this time of year are likely to be ones that have died naturally over the winter and pop up to the surface as the water warms up again, however of course these should be removed as soon as possible.
