General Comments:
The bailiffs were brilliant, couldn't help you enough, and were down daily checking temps and oxygen levels due to extreme heat. The fishing started off slow due to the heat, but half way through the week the weather system changed in our favour and we caught 20+ fish between us, close to shops and anything you need, would be perfect for a group booking exclusively

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Bottom baits presented inline and behind aerator line on the far margin over one scoop of the venues wheat/maize mix and topping up every 4-5 hours or each fish. Most fish came through the night and a second fish would be quickly followed. You could set your clock to 20:00 hours and the liners would start. Not many bites through the day.
Bait wise I took 25kg of boilie but didn’t use any of it. I recommend ordering 25kg of the wheat/maize mix (50€) and fish your hookbaits over it.
Were the facilities what you expected?
For a drive and survive venue it’s a bonus to have showers, fridge/freezers and charging cupboard, all could be locked, bring 2 padlocks. Tokens are given at the start but the owners/bailiffs would come around once a day asking if you needed more. Each peg has a fire pit and firewood is all there on your arrival as well as any bait.
There’s a big bin at the entrance to the venue for you to use also.
Were you happy with them?
Yes, more than happy.

General Comments:
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our visit. Another party were visiting during our tenure where they had all the Cats (road bank) and a token big head carp which went to 74lb.

General Comments:
Absolutely great venues for big fish especially the cats, PBs to be had.
Very good social layout.
Owners of lake only a phone call away, bring you any bait you need... very helpful.

Details of your catches:
Biggest carp 43.10
Biggest grass 28
Biggest cat 89
Total of 26 fish
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
For the carp we caught all at the far margin, mostly successful with snowman rigs, but pop ups and bottom baits also caught. Cats came on any bait, but the biggest fell to 3 x 20mm pellets.
Sweet baits did not work at all on this occasion, swim one caught most on royal marine from bait works, and swim 2 caught most on asbo from mad baits. Had a couple of cats and grass using shrimp.
The week did start slow with all this considered, with some really strange weather, but soon picked up.
Were the facilities what you expected?
The facilities are basic as described, but are adequate. The shower is powerful and warm, the fridge is cold, although we didn't use it as we had our own, and the sockets gave you power, what more can you need?

General Comments:
We loved it here, the only let down was the weather. The banks are perfect for a social, there are firepits and more importantly lots of big carp/cats. Make sure to bring toilet roll! The bailiff welcomed us and popped down from time to time, but other than that we were left to get on with it. The drive was easy. There are local supermarkets close by and also there is an amazing takeaway, i believe it's called good food, he prefers whatsapp orders so once you have his number you will not regret it.
Overall we loved it and every person had PB carp and cats, which is exactly what we went for, money well spent and memories made.
