Carrouge Facilities

At the heart of Carrouge's facilities is a large covered social area - genuinely one of the best examples of sociable carp fishing in France on offer. It includes a wooden picnic table, lighting, and plenty of charging points (both English and French sockets).

The same area houses a sink and food prep space, with a kettle, microwave, gas hob, fridge, and a bait freezer (approx. 200kg capacity). You'll need to bring your own cooking utensils, cutlery and plates. As there's no mains water supply, a filtration system provides your water throughout your stay.

The toilet and shower are sited here too, with a heated towel rail to take the chill off in colder weather.

Power currently comes from a generator and solar power. Phone signal and 3G/4G on site are generally good, though this can vary depending on your provider. The site is fenced with a lockable main gate, and you'll be given an access code for your stay. A supermarket and all the usual essentials are just 5 minutes away in the nearby town.

A bait boat is available to hire for €90 per week - we'd recommend booking this with the owner as early as possible to guarantee availability. Contact details are provided in your Info Pack, accessible via your Customer Area once your holiday is booked.

Owner Thomas doesn't live on site, so you'll have the place to yourselves, but he'll check in occasionally and is always available by phone for advice. He's a knowledgeable angler and genuinely wants you to have the best session possible.
