Carrouge Facilities

The facilities were newly built in 2024, with a large covered social area which includes a wooden picnic table, lighting and plenty of charging points (both English and French).

There's a sink and food prep area with a kettle, microwave, gas hob, fridge and bait freezer (capacity of approx 200kg). You must however bring your own cooking utensils, cutlery, plates etc. There is no mains water supply and so a filtration system is in place to provide water.

The toilet and shower is sited here too, with a heated towel rail taking the chill off in colder weather!

Currently the power is provided by a generator and during 2025 the venue plans to move to solar power. Phone signal & 3/4g on site is good (although of course it can depend on your specific phone provider).

The site is fenced with a lockable main entrance gate, a code will be given for your use. Supermarket and all usual facilities are just 5 minutes away in the nearby town.

A bait boat is available to hire for 90€ per week. Anglers are advised to order their bait boat hire with the owner as soon as possible to ensure availability. Their email address and phone number can be found on the 'Info Pack' in your Customer Area on our website once your holiday is booked.

The owner Thomas does not live on site and will leave you to enjoy your holiday, but will check in occasionally and is otherwise available to contact by phone if you would like any advice or have an issue - he is a very knowledgeable angler and wants you to have the best session possible.
