5 anglers in total with everyone catching. Fish caught mainly on bottom baits, but also on Pop-ups and Wafters.
Best advice I can give on fishing Carrouge is to listen to Thomas - he really knows his lake and is on hand to provide advice on baits and locations.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Carrouge has good facilities with a lovely lodge with cooking facilities and fridge/freezer and is great for socials.

Definitely - the venue facilities are well thought out with anglers in mind. You earn your catches here and all the fish we caught were in good condition - clearly well cared for.

Our group have been on a number of trips with Angling Lines and their service has always been spot on.

Tomas is a wonderful host he wealth of knowledge on the lake is brilliant and listing to him will definitely get you more fish on the bank

Very tough conditions but all anglers caught, 16 fish in total from high 20's to 52.4.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Thomas was a great host and will put you on fish, listen to him and you won’t go far wrong. Heavy baiting with boilie/pellet and match the hatch 18mm wafter hookbaits worked well for us.

Very happy, the whole area was clean and tidy and we made full use of the shower and cooking areas daily and couldn’t fault them

Yes Angling Lines were very easy to use from start to finish. Everything’s sorted and put into place so makes life so much easier

I really couldn’t fault the trip from start to finish, Angling Lines sorted everything for us. The lake, fish and facilities were fantastic and Thomas is such a great host who was always on hand if needed to make our trip as memorable as he could.

Fishing was slow with 12 fish landed, good average wight upper 30lb, couple small ones and a new pb 47lb
