Just 5 metres from lake edge sits a converted railway carriage, which has been refurbished and extended to provide a comfortable stay.

You will find two twin bedrooms with full sized beds and chest of drawers. One of the bedrooms also has English sockets with USB ports. There’s a small living area with a comfy sofa, flatscreen TV with English Freeview. Additionally, the accommodation is connected to the mains water supply, making the water safe to drink.

The simple kitchen sits to one end of the living area with a fridge and freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, plates, etc. There is a separate bait freezer. You will also find an ample sized barbeque and pizza oven outside by the covered patio area. The shower room is a good size with wash basin and wc.

Bed linen will be supplied by the owners, but please bring your own towels. A travel cot can be provided for small children, please let us know in advance if required.

A separate covered dining area sits bankside with stunning views across the lake (for use with food package only).

For the cooler months we have free-standing radiators for the accommodation, and in warmer months we have air conditioning situated in the main bedroom.

Because of the close distance of the accommodation to the lakeside, it is possible to sleep within the accommodation whilst keeping your rods out on the double swim closest by.

An on-site tackle shop supplies end tackle and bits you may have forgotten, there is also a full tackle hire service if required. There is also a fridge containing drinks and snacks which can be purchased throughout the day.

The owners live on site in a house set back from the lake - whilst they will leave you to enjoy your exclusive carp fishing in France, it does mean they are on hand if anything is required.

Phone signal and 4g is good around the lake, although of course it depends on your provider.
