Railway Cabin Accommodation

Just 5 metres from the lake's edge sits a converted railway carriage, refurbished and extended to provide a comfortable stay. Thanks to its lakeside location, you can sleep in the accommodation while keeping your rods out on the double swim directly in front.

The cabin features two twin bedrooms with full-sized beds and chest of drawers. One bedroom also includes English plug sockets with USB charging ports.

The living area offers a comfortable sofa and a flatscreen TV with English Freeview channels. At one end of the living space is a simple but well-equipped kitchen, complete with a fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, crockery, and cooking essentials. A separate bait freezer is also provided.

The accommodation is connected to the mains water supply, making the tap water safe to drink. The shower room includes a shower, wash basin and WC.

Outside, you'll find a covered patio area with a generously sized barbecue and pizza oven.

Bed linen is provided by the owners; however, guests should bring their own towels. A travel cot can also be supplied for small children if requested in advance.

For cooler months, free-standing radiators are available throughout the accommodation, while air conditioning is installed in the main bedroom for warmer weather.

Additional Information

An on-site tackle shop stocks end tackle and other essential items you may have forgotten. A full tackle hire service is also available, and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks can be accessed throughout the day.

A separate covered dining area is located on the lakeside, offering stunning views across the lake. This facility is available for guests who have booked the food package.

The owners live on site in a house set back from the lake. While they respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your exclusive carp fishing holiday, they are nearby should you need any assistance.

There is wifi available and phone signal is also good at the lake, although of course it depends on your provider.
