News from Eau De Vie South lake

New Stock, 11th Feb
On Saturday three new carp joined Eau De Vie South, 2x 40lb and a beautiful 51lb scaley.

Sad news but bright plans ahead, 10th Oct
Sadly, we have to announce the passing of the largest carp in the lake, weighing 62lb. As there have been no other losses or obvious signs as to why, we can safely presume it was from natural causes. Of course, this is part of running any fishery, but it’s still sad news and we know many of you will have been hoping to land this particular carp on your trip. Please be reassured that the lake remains very well stocked.
In response to this, lake owner Gary is planning to introduce some bigger carp this winter, which should hopefully be stocked in early December. This will complement the existing good head of fish in the 30s and 40’s to target.
On a more positive note, there’s plenty happening this winter. A tree surgeon will be carrying out general maintenance around both lakes, and the outside bedroom on South Lake is getting a new floor.
