General Comments:

Great week great venue Gary, Angelina and George were fantastic as usual. Put on a great social BBQ with the other lads from north lake on the Thursday and always on hand to help

Details of your catches:

22 fish landed including a 33lb Grassy. Mirrors and Commons smallest carp on the bank 23lb loads of upper 20’s and 30’s. Biggest was a pearler of a common at 42.8lb. Majority of bites came at night due to sunny weather in the day.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Far margins behind the island and in the bay opposite the accommodation. Bait boat a must to get to spots beneath the undercut trees on the margins, rigs dropped with house particle, pellet and boilie handful of each upped when the bites started coming.

General Comments:

Fantastic Lake and Fantastic Hospitality from Gary, Ange and George. Would highly recommend going with the food package Ange’s cooking was amazing. On the fishing front the stock in the Lake are absolute specimens and fight like hell, not a scale out of place or barb missing on them. We used house baits as well, opting for GLM flavour and Spicy krill bollies along with particle and pellet which worked well for us. Was struggling for a bite first day and half but after a few bits of advice from Gary on rig tweaks and hookbaits it all kicked off…Gary knows the Lake and his fish like the back of his hand you can tell from the quality of his fish and his vast angling experience having 15 years working with Nash Tackle ignore him at your peril…😂. Massive thank you to Gary, Ange and George for making it a Holiday to remember!!! Will definitely be back!!!
