Between my grandson and myself we had 48 fish, exactly 24 each, ranging from 15lb to 40lb being the largest.

My grandson was using house with half pineapple pop up, I was using my go to anywhere bait of 18mm cell with a topper.

Facilities were clean and tidy, had everything we needed.

Were you happy with them?

Overall yes except the shower needed some fine setting but once you got the hang of it all was ok.

Excellent weeks fishing lots caught and owner gave us a few good tips that worked very well.

23 carp ranging from low 20's to a fabulous 43lb common, including 2 grass carp to 38lb.

Baitworks Atlantic Heat has worked well at both lakes, match the hatch fished on the bottom along with house pellet and particle mix.

Yes, been to Eau de Vie for past 4 years. Love it there.

General Comments:

Gary and Ang (and now with George too) have created a fantastic fishery and we have returned each year since our first visit in 2022, which demonstrates how much we love it! No poisson chat, no crayfish, great advice and left to enjoy the fishing but always on hand for help if needed.. perfect!

Commons, mirrors and grass carp from 20lb up to 43lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fished to the far margins under the trees worked well. Simple lake bollie with half a pop up on a spinner rig. The swim outside the cabin was tough unless you fished to the tree line opposite the finger swims.

Basic but clean and tidy with a great outdoor area to socialise

General Comments:

A great week socialising and fishing with family. Lake owner Gary is very helpful and goes out of his way to help in any way and not just on the fishing front but cars as well, sorted ours out.

38 fish in total with a total weight of 1025lb

Single or snowman lake boilies on the bottom, on a small bed of particle and crushed boilie, to shaded areas of the lake.
