General Comments:

Fish in amazing condition. Beautiful lakes. Pegs are very well looked after. Mark is a legend, best bailiff ever.

Details of your catches:

1 angler with 25 carp, with the majority in the average weight of 23-25lbs. Highlights included a 37 lbs grass Carp and a 31 lbs common. Smart fish who use the blanket weed to bounce off.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

House bollie with plastic corn fished tight to the far margin. Also had success with Icelandic red. Both particle and pellet worked well.

Yes, clean and well maintained and just what you need.

Yes, great shower, and good water pressure.

Yes definitely. Great fun fishing, with peace and quite, idyllic location.

Yes very smooth booking, and next years trip with angling lines is already booked.

General Comments:

Great venue, which is now getting very popular and therefore you have to book well in advance, so if you can plan your trip to Jonchery 7 and book it as soon as you can. The food package is outstanding, I had forgotten how good fried bread with your breakfast really is. Mark and Anita are fantastic hosts and the social BBQ was a nice touch. Have to also say many thanks to Mark for helping to resolve an issue with a brand new bait boat which caused me major stress, but mark was able to get snogger one for my use during my stay. If you have not booked a trip to Jonchery or to 7, do so, just listen to the advice given by the Balliff and you will catch. 5 star.

Details of your catches:

38 fish caught up to 44lb 8oz. 5 30lb fish and the rest being high 20s. Only fished until 2a.m. some nights and didn't fish some days.

Fished the far margin. Baited up with particle, fished boilie over the top.

Yes. Hot shower. Freezer for bait. Fridge for food and drink. Everything you need.

General Comments:

Brilliantly run lake and instantly made welcome. Mark has a great knowledge of the venue and will go out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Food package is 100% worth it! Anita does a great job in the kitchen and you wont go hungry. Social BBQ is a nice touch, gets all the Anglers interacting and is good fun. Overall this is a great venue and we will definitely be returning soon. Thanks again to Mark and Anita for making this trip one to remember!

Details of your catches:

60 carp caught between two anglers ranging from 5 lb to 36 lb . Only two thirtys caught. Most fish around the 20 lb Mark

Sticky and urban baits used, both good . By far the best bait to top a snowman rig was purple mulberry florentine pop ups.

Very clean site, good hosts so yes

Facilities were good but bike hire from jonchery 7 would be a big plus or adding a portaloo by the lake.

Yes, but not to all my friends as its not everybody's type of venue

General Comments:

Lots and lots of carp, if you go take a bike. Also take a drill and masonry bit to help fix your bivvy pegs through the hardcore. Mosquitos galore so go prepared. Meals not always delivered so expect to go to the house to collect sometimes. No breakfast supplied on final morning which we thought we would get but overall food package was superb as were the bailiff and his wife. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Social bbq on a Wednesday is a great idea . I plan on fishing jonchery main lake again but not jonchery 7
