Caught between us 70 fish ranging from 34lb to 25ib and lots of lower teens, one sturgeon, 8 catfish biggest 25lb

House pellet and house boile worked best sent to far margins not really interested in pop ups all bottom baits

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were spot on, can't grumble, showers toilets eating area all keep clean

Were you happy with them?

Very happy, have been to a lot worse all over france these rank one of the best

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Definitely find your spots on your chosen swim, stick to that area and the fish will get there heads down and the one toners will come

Definitely, Angling Lines well established, have used various times throughout my French fishing trips

General Comments:

In general the fishery is ran right, Mark the bailiff is great a decent guy and will assist you with any thing you need and love a good chat with you, knows the lakes inside out and will put you the fish if you're struggling. Anita, Mark's wife, does a cracking food package and would highly recommend she is also happy to help keep up the good work

Details of your catches:

We had 20 carp up to 57lb 8oz for the week, which given the weather conditions and late spawning was a good result! We had 4 fish over 40 with the majority left being in the 30's

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We fished big beds of bait of Essential Cell, and Active Bait solutions Maple Nut. We bought the party blend particle onsite and brought our own dynamite baits hemp. We also used a sack of the lakes Coppens pellet. Bait was sent out to the far margin with hoppers filled.

Were the facilities what you expected?

We had shared access to the lodge that had a lovely area to eat your food (we just took the food package back to our peg). The area had a shower and separate toilet to be shared with the whole complex. Each peg had its own charging area for all electrical equipment, we had a shared chest freezer and drawers in a fridge all within the price paid.

Despite the facilities being shared with all the lakes they were never really that busy and the longest I waited for the showers was 5 minutes on 1 occasion.

The facilities also had a full kitchen area with hob and oven and microwave which is an added bonus.

Were you happy with them?

Facilities modern, clean and tidy and all that you need for a weeks fishing.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Definitely would recommend to anyone as this is a well run venue, everything explained on arrival and left to relax and fish for the week... you can't ask for more!

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

The process through angling lines is great and we will be using this in future, having the option to split monthly payments you don't even notice paying it off and you have the security of the holiday being protected and all travel looked after!

General Comments:

I would highly recommend taking the food package on the weeks holiday, Anita makes sure you are well fed with a morning baguette with sausage, bacon and egg and the evening meals are great especially the Sunday roast!

Details of your catches:

Very disappointed, not told of loads of 3to 5lbs catfish and small carp present 8lbs common. We caught nothing else and did not see ONLY 1 or 2 GOOD CARP SHOW

1 toilet for 14 anglers and 1 show not good and shower was rubbish.

Waste of money I'm afraid to say.

*Angling Lines note* We are sorry that you had a really tough week's fishing and fully appreciate how frustrating that is. However, we do need to point out that nothing has changed with the lake stock, as can be seen from other catch reports this season.

26 carp 2 catfish... 8 carp over 40lb, most of others 30lb plus, 1 x 50 plus

Lake pellets and alot of madbaits boilies... bottom baits produced bites.
