General Comments:

Fishing was hard due to the weather, 30’c temp and warm nights apart from that had brilliant week, food package was bang on

Details of your catches:

Between the 3 of us we had a good week we had 44 carp, biggest 51lb 12oz.
7 catfish biggest 120lb and a 19lb sturgeon.

Yellow wafters had most of the fish, but also the lakes plum bait produced fish as well

Yes very good. Only one toilet and shower but never a problem even with 13 anglers on site

General Comments:

Great week. Started with 4 fish on bank in the first hour then steady for a few days but last 3 nights was was hectic including a triple take one evening. Most fish caught on milk and fishmeal boilies. We shared rods from night 3 as all fish was on right hand side all week. Few fish caught in day but mostly in evening due to extreme heat. Come 7pm most evening the carp started to show themselfs and we got some spots rocking under far trees and right hand bank.
Cats was major problem due to heat caught about 30. Always unhooked in net and released.
Food on site was fantastic and bailiff was nice guy and helpful if needed.

Lowest I think on record, 3 carp, lots of cats a 150lber and 120lber, plus a few other small cats

We couldn't buy a bite, very strange week

General Comments:

A very strange week, the fish just shut off on all lakes, 4 thunderstorms this week, the fish started feeding on bloodworm, we tried everything to get a bite, stalking, different baits, boilies, particles, fake maggots, the fish just fed around our baits, we done nothing wrong. I've fished some hard lakes in UK and abroad and can usually buy a bite, this week we really tried and failed miserably, Mark the bailiff hadn't seen the lake do this before and with the stock of all lakes there's always a good chance even when its very quiet. Really enjoyed our trip though, you can't win against nature no matter how hard you try and I'm sure the following week will be catching already.
