Weather was hot and humid on the Saturday and Sunday with a massive thunderstorm Sunday evening. The temperatures remained high with bright sunshine for the rest of the week. We were on Swim 5 and had a 15 fish in total consisting of:
3 x 40's
2 x 30's
7 x 20's
1 x high double
2 x Grass carp ( 42,38 )
A mixture of commons and mirrors.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Single lake boilie over pellet and particle.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes

Were you happy with them?

Yes, although perhaps some furniture (table & chairs) in the newly redecorated area would be a welcome addition.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes, absolutely. Mark and Anita are great hosts and very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The fish are in tip-top condition, swims are well kept and the food package is excellent. We have been here regularly over the past few years and absolutely love the place.

Yes, Angling Lines are very easy to deal with and are always very helpful if required.

We had 10 Carp between the two of us, including two new PB's. We had Grass Carp for 57lb 4oz, 52lb, 48lb & 39lb 8oz and we had Common Carp for 33lb, 2 x 32lb and a small Mirror at just over 11lb!

Pop ups and snowman rigs, supple hooklinks (Super Natural/Dark Matter)

Excellent facilities, everything you needed and very clean and tidy

Definately, the lake(s) are fantastic, facilities great and the fish are pristine.

Fished peg 5, had 4 fish the first night then slowed up. Fish still spawning ended up with 8 fish in total.

Had fish from all over fishing particles and pellet with pink wafters as hook baits.

Great place, great hosts and happy anglers. Tough week due to spawning but times like that can not be predicted but at least some fish still came out, mostly at night
