Details of your catches:

23 caught, a few doubles, mostly 20’s, 3 x 30’s, 1 x 50lb grass carp, a 30lb sturgeon and 1 tench.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Supple hooklengths, sharp hooks

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were good although no toilet roll was provided. Our swim (Swim 4) had a rodent problem with rats nesting and active at night very close to the bivvy. On site bailiff was at most times not on site, although very helpful when possible.

Were you happy with them?

The shower and toilet flooded at one point but were both then fixed the next day.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

The average stamp of fish did seem to be small for a French venue but the fishing was good and not particularly difficult.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Angling lines were very good and helped us rearrange our tunnel crossing for an earlier time back to the UK. Customer service was excellent and instructions and information about the venue clear.

General Comments:

*Bailiff's note* Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the toilet however we believe this was blocked for no more than an hour and only took that long as we were unaware. 11 rolls of toilet roll were placed in lodge over the week. Rodents on pegs is not normal as we have a poisoning rotation - we urge anglers to let us know if they have a problem so we can fix it. If I am not on site at any point (I also take care of our other lakes in the area) please know I am just a phone call away.

Details of your catches:

6 fish caught, after difficult start. 3 mirror and 3 common. Biggest were 51.5 common and 44 mirror.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing open water with scattered rather than tight baiting (boilies). Most fish caught on mailine cell boilies.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes.

Were you happy with them?

Yes.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Definitely. Used you a number of years ago. If anything you have got even better. The whole process of booking a holiday including ferry crossing has been made quick and simple.

General Comments:

Had a great time at jonchery , hope to return next year to do ourselves more justice now we have a better understanding of the lake.

Details of your catches:

14 fish between two of us - 3 thirties, 6 twenties, 4 doubles and a pasty about 4lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fish for single bites and wait. Tough week due to changeable weather and the smaller fish in post spawn recovery and the large fish hanging around waiting to spawn

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. All good

Were you happy with them?

Yes

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes but maybe avoid april/may due to unpredictable nature of the fishing

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes, couldn't be more helpful

General Comments:

Difficult fishing due to the weather otherwise all good
