Really nice fish and well looked after by Mark and Anita who helped whenever needed but left you in peace otherwise.

General Comments:

Sixth visit in 13 years still gives you that buzz, and on top of it you had the pleasure of meeting a first class bailiff (not many around these days, hospitality shown by mark+anita second to none, cant wait to rebook.)

Smallest being 25lb, a few 30lb+ and four 40lb+ the biggest being 48lb 8oz

Smaller baits - 15mm fruity bollie topped with a 10mm Pop up, I did take some 20mm fish meal bollie's with me and still caught on them but more fish came in with a smaller fruity bait.

A large chest freezer for bait and a large fridge for other essentials, also a hot powerful shower

General Comments:

Jonchery is a beautiful lake and I really like the fact that you book your swim on booking as it gives you time to research that swim, I am already looking to go back to this venue, fishing can be tricky but when you do catch the catches are very rewarding. I myself beat my PB twice in a week, a 41lb 15oz and a 48lb 8oz, anyone should always take advice from mark as he does know his stuff and he is more than happy to help. My alarms packed up on the 2nd day and if it wasn't for mark lending me his it would have been game over, 100% top host and can't recommend mark and Anita as hosts enough
