Had a good week considering the temperatures. Fished mainly evenings. Finished with 9 fish including a 38lb common, 36lb grass carp, 34lb mirror, the rest 20's and stockies

Finely crushed tigers and washed out boilies with tiger hookbaits and wafters

The house is lovely and has everything you could possibly need

I would definitely recommend Angling lines, it’s the third time I’ve been with them and they have not let me down

General Comments:

Overall the house and facilities were great. The lake is a decent size for 1 angler but could comfortably accommodate 2

Great week, 16 fish caught, biggest at 46lb 11oz, a great mix of carp - plenty of commons, mirrors, grass carp and a koi to top it off.

Hook baits presented over a bed or particles worked wonders.

The property is beautiful, amazing grounds and a lovely lake which is full of smashing looking prizes.

Awesome venue and can't wait to return again.

Absolutely, if you want a property full of character and grounds to die for then this is the place to go. There really is something for everyone in the family.

We caught a 12lb ghost coy, 27lb and 28lb mirror carp, and 44lb common carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The best tactics were washing line method on a spinner rig with a flouro wafter.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The accommodation was brilliant, comfortable, spacious and clean. The added bonus of wifi and sky TV was beyond expectations and the facilities were fantastic.

Were you happy with them?

We were very happy with the space and felt like a home away from home. The only thing I would reiterate to those booking is a lack of toilets in the upstairs which may affect some people staying.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Definitely if you like to be in a quiet and remote location where you can totally relax and unwind. We had horrible weather for our week stay but we were so comfortable in the accommodation which made it bearable.

A wonderful and comfortable stay and the owner was super helpful with questions and concerns we had while we were there! Great communication throughout! The facilities were fantastic and had everything you needed for a cozy stay! And great fishing also!
