General Comments:

unfortunately we had a bad week with 95% of the carp showing along the far bank that hasn't a single peg on it and only possible to fish from 2 points (la point/l anse)It wasn,t a cheap trip with the state of the euro/pound so was a bit disapointing to sit there all week with the fish totally out of range .There were 3 other anglers with 3 carp 1 sturgen beteen them i think. Mendi seem very nice but not very forthcoming with information on lake perhaps we were unfortunate with the fish being more spead out at other times of the year to end positively the sturgen i caught was as hard fighting as any fish as i,ve caught (Bridget feel free just to use this for your own use if you want hope its of some use)cheers wally

General Comments:

Sadly the week that we fished it was incredibly hot! 34c!! the fish shoaled up on the far bank and were just not having it, got a great sun tan though!

Details of your catches:

2 x 40lb mirror, 1 x 36lb mirror, 1 x 45lb common, 2 x 72lb sturgeon (just under record), 1 x 80lb catfish, several grass carp under 20lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Partimix/ pellets/ any boilies + Rahja Spice + plastic pop-up pellets / sweetcorn. Fish had spawned previous week so fishing slow. Pellets / boilies in PVA bags.

As described.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, ok. We were the only two on the lake for the week. If there were 7 people angling I think the facilities, i.e. the toiliet & shower might be a problem.
