We went to Laroussi for the first time and were buzzing with expectations. We knew there were some real monsters in the lake so we had a chance. We ended up on Le Anse. We had a great week. We didn't catch a lot of fish. (The week before us there were 53 fish caught) In our week in total there were 17 fish caught.... we had 7 of them!! The weights were: 50.0, 43.0, 2 x 38.0, 24.0, 23.0, and 23.0 My mate Clemens caught his new PB with the 50lb mirror, well done mate!! We all caught our fish between 10 and 6 in the morning

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We fished with scopex boilies, we fished only with boilies. We first looked for hard gravel patches and clipped all rods and fished on those harder patches all week long.

General Comments:

We had a terrific week overall. We had a lot of laughs, lots of barbeques and beer between us.. Medhi is a really nice bloke (prutser!). The swims are really big, you have plenty of room to put your rods in. Thanks for a great week, Rob and Clemens

Catfish : 87lb(PB) Sturgeon : 47lb , 44lb , 45lb , 49lb , 50lb , 51lb , 64lb, 64lb , 53lb12oz, 49lb , 64lb, 64lb all Pb's. Grass carp : 12 between 5 and 14lb.

A lot of good fish and a lot of Pb's smashed. We all had a great weeks fishing , great lake, great weather, great owner, we will all be returning.

well run lake mehdi is superb fishing is for very big average size fish so never going to be aruns water but the prizes are there
