Great venue with the chance to catch a big fish

3 Sturgeon, 1 x 36lb, 1 x 37lb, 1 x 30lb. 50lb mirror, 42lb mirror, 28lb common. Fish started spawning during the week.

Quest Liver B8 and Quest Fruity Trifle. Pellet and imitation sweetcorn.

Dez : 46lb12oz ; 40lb1oz ; 39lb8oz ; 35lb6oz ; 32lb8oz ; 31lb1oz. 12lb common and 44lb catfish. Martin : 36lb6oz ; 30lb4oz ; a 30lb4oz grass carp and a 45lb sturgeon. Steve : 3 x 50lb sturgeon and a 18lb common.

Superb Venue, we'll be back!

5 superb mirrors of 49.12, 49.06, 42.10, 39.04, 36.12... and around 8 small grassies of around 5lbs

Quest Special Crab fished over Mehdis parti-blend mix. Used mixed sizes for baiting up 10, 15 & 20mm with 15mm hookbaits. Fished Point & Deux Seules swims. Fish in Deux Seules came from far margin & in the Pointe from far margin & out towards middle of lake

General Comments:

Not an easy week but what superb fish! You don't need many takes to keep you happy if you get specimens like this. As always Mehdi was superb. Already reserved our week for 2009 & 2010!
