General Comments:

It was a tough week - high pressure, sharp NE winds all week, the first frosts of the year and extremes of temperature between days and nights. This is a top class 'proper fishing' big fish venue. You really need to be a reasonably experienced angler to make the most of the fishing on offer. If you don't have much experience do yourself a big favour and fish on Old Oaks next door instead. Mehdi is simply the best host ever - top man!

General Comments:

Never been so disapointed. Too many rats. Saw Mehdi for 2 mins. the whole holiday the rest of the time he was not there. Caught 1 fish on the first day, then no one had a single run for the rest of the holiday. We have all been carp fishing for many years and know how to fish, this venue was lifeless.
