Quest Special Crab fished over Mehdis parti-blend mix. Used mixed sizes for baiting up 10, 15 & 20mm with 15mm hookbaits. Fished Point & Deux Seules swims. Fish in Deux Seules came from far margin & in the Pointe from far margin & out towards middle of lake

General Comments:

Not an easy week but what superb fish! You don't need many takes to keep you happy if you get specimens like this. As always Mehdi was superb. Already reserved our week for 2009 & 2010!

Great lake with a chance of a biggie if you are prepared to work.

Steve 31lb Mirror, John 39lb and 28lb Mirror. Fred (81 years young) sturgeon 46lb, 50lb 70lb+ bottomed scales out at 68lbs.

small single or double baits, few boilies as loose feed. Fish were at distance.

General Comments:

This is not a 'runs' water but the chance of a big fish. 40lb-70lb. Did not take bait boats but on arrival found out that you can use baitboats even if you do not book the lake exclusively. It would have made a difference to our catch as fish were at distance, (not prepared to pay baitboat hire £105 per week)Disappointing. Angling lines you should advise on this.
Medhi great guy, overall a great week, will return for a'lump' ******* NOTE FROM ANGLING LINES ******* Baitboats are NOT allowed on Laroussi unless the lake is booked exclusively. There have been some instances in the past where this has not been the case but Mehdi (the owner) tells us that from now on this is DEFINITELY the case.
