General Comments:

Very happy ! 3 fishing days in november with 4 superb fish. I lost a very big mirror 2 yards off the net. Lovely autumn trees colors.

Details of your catches:

Difficult conditions didn't see many fish caught around the lake so was more than made up with the action I had. My week was slightly marred by the loss of one of the huge Laroussi residents 'Carol'and another couple of hook pulls. This is to be expected when the fish aren't feeding that hard and wasn't helped by the extreme ranges I was casting. A lot of stretch in the line and small barbless hooks aren't an iseal combination.

Highly visual hook-baits at range. I caught on Quest Baits Special Crab and Fruity Trifle with small sight bobs above the bait.

1 sturgeon 35lb, 5 commons to 28 1/2lb one small mirror and a 40lb mirror. lost 2 good fish on the 1st night.

small pva bags, any amount of bait attracted sturgeon and gave you loads of major liners all night. working hard and watching the water and plenty of marker work does help!

the lake is great and medhi is a good host, the fishing was fairly slow, and although we managed a few fish the average size was pretty small for the lake. will be back though for one of Laroussi's monsters for sure.

Steven : Mehdi, this man never stops smiling there to give you tips advice nothing is a problem. The fish in Laroussi are in top condition. Mehdi's passion for his lakes is the key this man is a carp angler that's why it is a top, top venue! Everything you will ever need for a week's fishing in France. Wayne : The fishery must be tried by any angler wanting to beat their PB. It is well run and managed by the owner, Mehdi who is at all times friendly and helpful. mehdi was a geniune care for his fishery and the anglers fishing it. The fish are in excellent condition, hard fighting and hard work with the marker rod+ accurate baiting wil pay off. Thank you Mehdi for a wonderful 2 weeks.
