General Comments:

This is our 3rd visit to Laroussi which our party classes as one of the premier lakes that angling lines provides. On arrival Mehdi the owner explained that there had been a change in weather which had subsequently slowed the fish down some what. The first couple of days was slow with only a few carp coming out on Main line cell but the sturgeons were showing in force with 2 of our party catching 4 sturgeons to 59.14lb, but with all 4 sturgeons in the 50lb region. Mehdi explained that as the week progresses the carp should become more active which is exactly what occurred. On Wednesday evening the carp starting feeding in the centre of the lake with 2 fish landed a 65lb mirror and a 48lb grass carp. The carp continued to feed until we left on the Saturday morning. Our party as always really enjoyed our stay at laroussi with plenty of bites and a good few fish landed, with a good helping of PB's achieved. Once again a big thank you to Mehdi and his family and we will look forward to returning to such a fantastic fishery.

Very hard weeks fishing with 1 small common of 27lbs, 2 grass mid twenty',s and 2 sturgeon 55.12 and 72lbs. 7 on the water, 4 blanked all week.

Only one Shower and 1 toilet, needs to be updated, water in shower just warm. For 7/8 anglers could do with 2 of each.

Only if you are prepared to blank, Laroussi has some good fish but can be very hard

It's a hard water, it would have been good to see Medhi through the week, he's a nice bloke but doesn't seem to care about his own water

Not impressed with the dead rat in the swim that was left to the anglers to remove, it's a great water but could do with some interaction from the owner **Owner's Note** Paul Broom's party was extremely unlucky. When they arrived on Saturday, I explained that the weather was suddenly changing, from high pressure to low pressure, from North wind to South wind, from blue sky to cloud, from flat calm to very windy, from very sunny to very gloomy all within a day! So I did say that it will probably affect the fishing strongly and it happens! I'm sorry I didn't pop in to the swim more regularly, it was a very busy week. My fault, but as I mention every Saturday, anglers are welcome to phone me anytime for tips, help, problems etc and I will help straight away - I did not receive a call.

Hard week... my 2 friends didn't catch much. One had a small common and the other a grassie. My week was completely different banking 13 carp and about 7-8 grassies and a tench. Had a superb session last week...about 20-25 fish out between all the anglers, not counting the grassies. 35, 38.5, 40.5, 41(common), 43, 48, 54.8, and a 58lb... the rest were mainly 20's. Another good week for me at Angling Lines premium water!

Boillies only to avoid the grassies... although it did not work completely.
