We had 99 fish in total!!! 40 carp up to 63.08 which was a new personal best for the angler.... 5 x 50's, biggest 58.8 which I caught. My dad had a 50.2 which was is first 50. 7 x 40s biggest 49.8 which again new personal best for the angler. 11 x 30's 5 of which I had, 32 & 33lb 6. 3 x 20's all 3 were 6. 53 grass carp 4 over 30lb biggest to Dianne Leader @ 38.14oz. 4 x sturgeon... 2 x 40s 52 & 54. Is this possibly one of the largest catches ever on this venue?

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Large beds of Mehdi's partiblend, we used 250kg between use! Small baits either plastic baits or 10-14mm bollies & sweet corn. Slack lines, small hoooks, long rigs with long hairs of around 1.5

General Comments:

I've been going to france for 11 years now & I've fished a few of Angling Lines venues in this time, but 13 has been the one I've enjoyed the most. For the group to catch 4 new personal best made my trip, to see 5 x 50's on the bank & the 63 was fantasic. The swims have all been set out well with plenty of water to fish & I wouldnt say there was a bad swim either. The chest frezzer, fridge & washing facilties came in so handy for us all. Not normally what you get from a venue. As for Medhi, you couldnt meet a nice more knowledgable fishery owner. Fantisic trip & we couldn't have asked for more!

We had 99 fish, 40 carp 63.8oz mirror, 5 x 50's biggest to 58.8oz. Myself had 7 x 40's to 49.8oz, 11 x 30's, 3 x 20's, 53 grass carp with 4 being over 30lb Biggest was 38.15oz.4 sturgeon - 2 x 40's, 52lb and 54lb.

large beds of Mehdie's own partiblend with small plastic baits boilies or sweetcorn. slack lines fishing at ranges between 65 and 120 yards with long hair rigs and small hooks.

General Comments:

I have been going to France now for 11 years, this was by far the best trip iv'e had. Not just the fact we had 4 new pb's with 6 fish over 50lb but the fact the lake is well set out and run extremely well by Mehdi and the facilities are fantastic. Normally carp anglers are not supplies with great shower, huge chest freezer and fridge with extra 3 pin elec. I was thanked by all the party for sorting out an amazing holiday. Will definatly book another trip back again soon. Thanks to Angling Lines and Mehdi for his fantastic knowledge and hospitality.

Details of your catches:

Smashed my PB twice : first a 58lb 8oz mirror followed by a 62lb 15oz ! Lost a couple of heavy fish too. Also had a huge catfish, over 2m long, too heavy to weigh it but estimated way over 100lb, probably the monster of the lake uncaught since a couple of years. Had also a big sturgeon, a 30lb grass carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fish it to a silty channel, Everyday about 15-20 spods of hemp, corn and groundbait and a different sizes of boilies from 12ml to 18ml and dumbells etc... few days of good carpy weather and come on !

General Comments:

After a bit of struggle in may this year, this time was a session of lifetime with 2 Pb's smashed. Many thanks to Mehdi again, top man and massive thanks to John and his wife for cracking photos and also at Angling Lines.

7 fish caught in total, Ben C - 1 tench 6lb 4oz, Ben L - 2x Grass Carp 20lb 3ox & 14lb, Jim C - 1x Cat fish 70lb 8oz and Matt C - 1x mirror 33lb 11oz, 1x common 19lb and 1 xGrass carp 37lb 13oz P.B.

Fishing hard and wasnt until last few days the fish started to bite. All fish caught where medhi had recommended on gravel spots.
