Fish were getting ready to spawn and fishing was a bit slow due to weather which was really hot. my mate had a 53lb and 71lb carp. I had a 38lb and a 45 came out to one of the others. Plus a few sturgeon.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Had thought the cabin was closer than it was. the 70 yr old with us found that tough as the mini swim in front of the cabin were a bit overgrown.... he had a couple of sturgeon though but not everybody caught.

very difficult a north wind but sunny. Extreme weather. We moved three times and only on the last day did the weather change. We blanked completely.

Fish were mostly held up and sadly we could not get to them. Loveed the lake but the wether and scenario meant we could not reach the carp.

General Comments:

Have already booked again for next year. Really loved the lake, were ok with the blank it was early in the year. Freezer, showers etc spot on.

Wayne.... mirror 50lb, 51lb, 39lb grass, 35lb common, 37.5lb, 17lb, 2 x 50lb+ sturgeon and many 15lb+ grass carp. Matthew... mirror 42lb, 45lb, 31lb common, 31, 1 x 50lb+ sturgeon and many 15lb+ grass carp.

Baiting little but often works for me and 15mm tigernut boilies

General Comments:

Yet another memmorable trip to Laroussi! Myself and my son Matthew were fishing while my wife, daughter and daughter in-law stayed in the accommadation, which was very clean and cozy. The weeks fishing was very good & we caught a total of 21 fish. I myself broke my pb common and my son Matthew broke his pb mirror. This is a amazing place and we cannot wait to get back!

Very happy with my new PB. Lake is Well kept, great owner, plenty of space on each peg, peacefull, lovely lake.
