single hook bait pinned to the bottom over a scatter of boilies back leads a must but lines quite slack we used aa baits snail & shell & enzyme (quality baits)

very hot in the day we found resting the swim of a day produced more action of a night

me and my friend went to the lake my friend and i had 10 carp with the biggest been 57lb 10oz second biggest 53lb 7oz others were carp up to 30lb i lost 6 nice fish

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

the best tactics was a nitrobaits boilie 15mm cheese and tiger nut stink horrible but did the buisness for me i used a size 6 korda wide gape hook on a chod rig i used a size 8 to start but was loseing fish so step up to a size 6

had a great weeks fishing will definately be going back in november with a group of frinds and the owner was a great help fantastic bloke

12 fish in total. Fishing Le chen peg. 1 sturgeon at 56lb, biggest mirror carp at 44lb, lots of small carp, commons between 12 & 18lbs.

Problem with small fish getting to bait before larger fish. Using Quest baits.

Good water, but should have stocked venue with 20-30lb not small commons.

General Comments:

This was our third trip this year and harry is coming for the fourth time. This is a place you will fall in love with . It has high potential of catching some real big fish. In 2011, I will be back again for my fifth visit each time I come I broke my pb.
