Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Baited heavy at approx 122m south side of lake markers. Between the two left and right orange swim markers and stuck to this with each drop of the bait boat topping up.
Fished some rods on Wafters over boilies and pellets.
Fished others on fake single corn over particles maize hemp. Fished pop ups. Wafters. Bottom baits.
And all worked.
Averaged approx 10 runs per 24 hrs

General Comments:

We were fortunate enough to have some low pressure. Even though very very hot days we were blessed with 2 storms which was a huge factor to the amount of fish caught. Tried shorter distances which produced a few good fish. But as my first visit last march, all the good fish came at distance to middle of lake. Angling lines as usual services are always second to none, with updated calls during trip

Any tactic worked over a bed of particle.
Need a boat with a motor to fish to the rope as difficult when breeze picks up.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Great facilities, loads of freezer space. Didn’t have an issue with one toilet as we took our own. I spoke to David about to why is there only one toilet, the reason is when they purchased the lake four or five years ago that facility was already like that.

Yes, great facilities.

Yes great water. We missed the spawn so we were lucky, just started on the day we were leaving.

Great service as usual. Half the party have booked through your selfs next year on a different venue.

Great holiday, a few more carp would of been a bonus.
