Unfortunately we caught very little due to fish being in pre spawning mode because of variable weather. Richard couldn't have been more helpful but sometimes you cant beat nature.

Excelent week. Richard top man, very helpfull.

49 fish to 42lb. Most fish coming in the shallows. 2x 40's. 3x 30's.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing tight to margins and finding the hotsots. Most fish coming out on the shallow water bank, but the two biggest from the deep water of the ledge. Particle and Sweetcorn, small amounts.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes - The Facilities were better than expected. The shower is very good and stayed hot for everyone. Plenty of cutlery and plates etc.

General Comments:

A great week for the group, the fishing was unexpectedly tougher than we were hoping, it seemed due to fish looking to spawn, but everyone caught some good fish. Richard was first class and gave some great advice. He even bought the birthday boy a cake. Nice touch and top guy.
