Great weeks fishing for everyone. Big thanks to Richard for looking after us.

Details of your catches:

50 carp and 1 catfish, everyone had lots of fish with bites coming at all hours. Double takes plus regularly having a few of us hooked into fish at the same time.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

On arrival we found out they spawned a few days before so we didn’t fish the first day but just prepped spots ready for the night. We fished for a bite at a time all week by either dropping The rigs with the bait boat filled with hemp and maize or catapulted 30-40 baits round each rod, then topped up after each fish.

We had every fish on bottom baits and over 40 of them was on a bottom bait with either white corn or a white pop up cut in half and tipped on the bottom bait (snowman style). Open water, tree line, pads, island, reeds all produced as good as each other

Yes, shower was very good. Bbq got a lot of use

We had a hard week with willow fluff covering the lake and fish spawning. All in all still enjoyed it!!
