2nd September Week, 6th Oct

Terrific week on both lake last week! Weather is now cool, grey and windy so the fish are active.

Between 2-9th September there were 43 fish out of Old Oaks including the Long Common at 68lb and the second 60lber is the Fox common at 64lb! Maximum ever weight.

9 fifties, 2 sixties and 18 forties!!!! Totally ridiculous, record average 47lb!

Mar 2017

March So Far..., 22nd Mar

Alan Pugh's group, fishing the first week of March, landed 24 fish including three 50's (two @ 55lb and one @ 51lb) and many 40's.

Last week saw only two anglers on the lake and a tricky week that resulted in two carp, however this was more than made up for by the fact that they weighed in at 57lb and 50lb!

So far this week we have seen five carp on the bank - four of these were over 40lb!

We're looking forward to seeing what the rest of the week holds...
