Peg 1 - Fished to the bottom of the shelf on the far bank/bay. Small yellow pop ups over a bed of boilie/chops, hemp and sweetcorn. Peg 2 - Fished to the bottom of the shelf on the far bank. Small pop ups over a bed of boilie/chops, hemp and sweetcorn. Peg 4/5 - Fished from 4 into 5's water. Bottom of the shelf and 1 rod length off the far bank produced. Small wafters/small snowman style over a bed of boilie/chops, hemp and sweetcorn.

General Comments:

Freezing temperatures made the fishing very tough, albeit very rewarding when we did catch. Mehdi was a great guy and very helpful if anything was needed. The local shop/bakers in Spay has everything you need... even Gas if you run out. One thing to note; March in France is a big trout season... which meant the match lake adjacent was rammed most of the week, diesel generators and hooters going off etc. So if you like more peace and quiet then try another month. All this being said, we will certainly be planning a trip back in the near future. Thanks Angling Lines!

Fish were not really feeding hard. 3 of the fish came over some bait on the far margin, the other 4 came from the bay in peg one. just singles cast once the fish arrived mid afternoon

As expected. Cabin has large freezer and fridge. Drinking water and sink. Also a hot shower

A slow week by the lakes standards but the weather was against us. Very cold nights slowed the fish down. All fish came from peg one
