General Comments:

Weather was quite mild when we got there but then we had 2 night's when it dropped to -5 and seemed to slow the fishing up just picking off the odd fish. Will definitely be coming back for some unfinished business

Peg 5, 41M, 59-14M (PB). Ten thirties, eight forties, five fifties and the Fox Common at 62lb. Average weight for week over forty two pound. Three PB's Smashed.

Yes. The facilities in the cabin were spot on for our needs.

Yes, having access to a fridge, freezer and mainly the shower were perfect.

General Comments:

This was our 1st trip to old oaks and we weren't disappointed. Mehdi met us on the saturday, showed us around the lake explaining each swim then left us to it. The quality and weight of the fish is exceptional. Our average weight was just under 44lbs in total we had over a 1000lb of fish

43 fish total weight 1,873lb 9 50s 2 60s 18 40s The rest mid to high 30s with a couple of 20s, including long common and fox common.

Cell and essential cell 100kg of boilies went in. Fished to far margin.

Can't be beat for size of the lake, the stock of fish is fantastic.
