Like most french holidays the Fish will move to empty areas of the lake, so ensure the end swims are occupied and spread yourself out.

All fish being caught from far bank and under trees beds of cell boilies weather didn't help had a heat wave till Wednesday, poisson chat were a pain to start with but once baits were wrapped they was fine

Medihi is a great bloke, just leaves you to it. Great venue and will definitely be returning

Pink pop ups within a rodlength of the far margin. Boilie spreads to avoid nuisance fish. Avoid fishmeals.

A great venue with a massive average size of fish. Mehdi was great as always just leaves the anglers to it.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Getting under the overhanging trees on the far bank where fish were holding up in the shadows. Placing single pop ups in the boat then walking around and dropping 4-5 feet from bank in 3-4 feet of water. Adding freebies (10-20 baits per rod) by hand from far bank. Fresh bait seem to work very well. Resting our swims for a few hours aday really helped. We went with fishmeals and ended up getting fruities from local tackle shop cos the poisson chat were very active and they do like the old fishmeals. Working as a team realy did the trick for us but still the hot weather did not help but it is july.

This was my second time at old oaks but the first time for the rest and we all will be going back soon. (I've said it before and I'll say it again) this place is Jurassic Park it is like no where else iv fished before. YES I WOULD RECOMMEND
