most fish caught on rajah Spice, fished to the far bank, But the snags did account for several lost fish.

There is some maintenace need urgently as being used week in week out it will only get worse.

General Comments:

Allthough the weather was bad, which made the fishing hard going, 4 of us came away with PB.

A brilliant trip! 4 x 40's and plenty of 30's.
Weights were:-
32,44,32,35,29,39,35,48,46,25,39,30,22,33,34,34,35,36,40,44,45.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

2 of us struggled for the first part of the week. Peg 5 and peg 2, both had 9 carp each. The others only had 3 each. When we arrived we made a mistake by putting loads of bait in.

General Comments:

The weather threw everything at us, sunshine, sleet, rain, high winds. Freezing nights. It was like passing through every season in 1 week.

Lake and Facilities very good but hard going 2 swims blanked!

the catches were good with all fish in good condition and they all gave a good account of themselves testing the groups ability. Each memeber bettered their personal best with Dave Dodds having a dream session breaking the lake record for a mirror carp @ 57lb and all but a few being better than his personal previous best of 23lb

single baits over a bed of particle with a few freebie boilies fished tight to the far bank

the facilities were good, it was indicated on the information that a micro wave was available but this had been removed.

General Comments:

the trip was a success with everyone enjoying themselves, Mehdi the owner was helpful and very friendly, he shows a passion for his fisheries and was always available for help.
