Me and my son had aroung 14 fish in the week, the fish ranged from 17lb to 41lb which my son caught on the first night.

Odyssey XXX worked well boated to the far margin.Pop ups mainly over seed mix was ok as well.

General Comments:

Very good a little slow through the day and a few snags to watch out for. Also a bit of a rat problem, but was'nt too bad.

Details of your catches:

60 Fish in total. 4 x 40s (40.08 Mirror, 41.02 common, 42.09 common, 43.08 common), 21 x 30s, 33 x 20s, 2 Grass Carp under 20lb. Average size at least 25lb.

Quest Pineapple Crush, and Fruity Trifle, topped with a plastic corn. All fished over partiblend. We found a bait boat very useful.

General Comments:

Very nice venue. Medhi seems to be a very nice guy, and will help you with whatever you want to know. This time of year a rod pod would be helpful as the ground is very hard! You might also bend a few bivvy pegs! The poision chat were active, but as we were using fruity baits, didnt cause much of a problem.

pop up fruit truffel, bottom bait fruit truffel, pigen condition, keep moveing around swopping swims,far bank fishing. 3-4ft off the bank.

General Comments:

very hard fighting fish, we lost over 10 fish, regarding the passion chat we landed 8 not a problem. the big problem is the RATS, thay dive for your baits thay bite through your hook lengths. *** Note from Mehdi, the owner; As I explained to the guys, I do keep putting many kilo's of poison all around the lake every 2 months throughout the whole season. In the winter, I trap them and shoot them. Please rest assured I do everything I can to keep the population down. *********

Details of your catches:

42 fish for the week, No 40's but all bar two were high 20's and 30's up to 39.5Lb with an average of just under 32Lb for the week. Shockingly we lost a futher 14 between us. Probably the best place we have ever been for fighting fish. Every single one put up a hell of a fight and even after being landed they still wanted to fight. (I think most were camera shy).

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Various boilies used from Activ-8 to Tutti-Fruitis, single hook baits and snowmen all caught. I tipped all of mine with plastic corn. The Possin Chat were not a problem durring the day but we all used meshed boillies over night.

General Comments:

Really good venue for a bend in the rod with a good stamp of carp. It was a shame that there are only two Cats in the lake and a few more would be intresting. One slight negative is that most of the swims are now in need of s bit attention as they are quite badly erroded. Other than that a really good lake. Mehdi is a nice guy and gave us a tour of Larrousi as well as his 'giant' veggies, other than that he left us to it.
