On arrival found out that the fish had just started to spawn, hence not many caught, and very hot every day

Recommended! Beautiful lake, lovely fish, will be back again.

Only 1 fish caught on first day 60lb catfishThe fish were just coming up to spawn so were not feeding at all.

General Comments:

We have fished this venue before and had a great time. Unfortunatly the fish just weren't having it this week. The weather was up and down too, going from really hot, to rain and thunderstorms. We will definitely go back and have not been put off. Mehdi is a great bloke, and couldn't believe we weren't catching, but it is just one of those things. No poisson chat at all which was good

Fishing reasonable... about 20 fish caught. Only 2 personally. Matthew had a 40lb. Also had a couple of bream.NO PROBLEM with POISSON CHAT, saw them but they didn't bother us at all!!!

General Comments:

BBQ good. Only negative would be that the venue could be made better by cutting back the undergrowth in places (Mehdi likes it to be natural). Apart from that this is a cracking venue and Mehdi is a smashing chap. Would like to fish this lake again or Laroussi
