Can't remember the exact figures around 30 carp between the 6 of us in what was quite a difficult week with the heat and low oxygen/water levels. Carp from 18 -53lb and and amazing week had by all

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Listen to Bruno the owner, he will put you right, such a lovely guy, so knowledgeable and helpful. Most successful was his own crustacean boilies (bottom baits) with pink corn toppers followed in a close second by bright yellow cc Moore northern specials (pop up). Local knowledge is my number 1 go 2 tool in any fishing trip and as mentioned before Bruno the owner will put you on the spots you need to be on for the time of year, so take in the advice and you won't go far wrong

Were the facilities what you expected?

The cabin is perfect for social evenings and has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The shower has amazing pressure and is kept lovely and clean as are the toilets. Even a handy little tackle shop at Brunos gate for any bits you may require throughout your stay

Were you happy with them?

More than happy with everything about this venue and how its run. It's only due to get better and better with Bruno's 3 year game plan 🙌 could not recommend it enough and will definitely be back multiple times

Yes all day long as previously stated amazing place, amazing owners, 3 minutes into town with supermarkets and take aways, tobacco shop, bank, everything you need. Honestly I can't stress enough how perfect this venue is

If you have made it this far through my review and haven't booked a trip yet then may I ask... what is wrong with you just book it!!!! Your wife/partner will forgive you eventually

22 carp for week biggest 48.8lb, majority of fish coming from the one swim

Tiger nut topped with fake maize
Fished over hemp maize and boilie

Facilities were great, it is a good trek to the shower, taking a bike is a must

Happy with everything, great venue and Bruno is a great host, very helpful, he was away on holiday for a few days but left us with extra bait for if needed
