26 Fish in total, 2x 50's and a couple of forties.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Far margins with yellow wafters and some fish caught with bottom baits out of the bag. Once the fish had settled after spawning we upped the amount of feed to hold the fish for longer.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, shower and toilet very good and clean, when we come again we would bring a bike to get round the lake.

Were you happy with them?

Yes they were exactly as advertised

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Definitely, Bruno the owner is very helpful when needed but leaves you to it the rest of the time. I would also consider swims other than the willows as they were very productive during our week.

General Comments:

Great lake which we will return to if available hopefully when the weather is slightly cooler.

We had 17 fish between 3 of us ranging from 15lb to 62lb

Yes very nice shower and toilet facilities but a bit of a walk, I timed it with baiting up so not a big deal

Great venue with amazing fish, which were the hardest fighting fish I’ve ever come across. Great owner who puts you on the spots! Highly recommended

Amazing location, with supermarkets 10 minutes away

49 fish landed across the lake with a few losses along the way. 4 of us with new PB’s with the biggest going 55lb.

12x20lb
And a few of the very pretty new stock fish.

Various types of rigs were used but yellow pop ups definitely produced more fish. Lots of big fish in this lake so plenty of bait was used including bollie, sweetcorn, pellet and particles.

Yes, all kept clean and tidy. Taking a push bike with us was great for going to the shower block

Yes, nice hot shower with plenty of power. Cabin is perfect for keeping your food/bait and is central to the lake so easy access for all swims
