over 40 carp between us with several 30s, 40s and a 53.8oz mirror, the rest were high doubles and mid to high twenties.

fish were caught on several different pop ups, wafters, snowman, all fished to the far margin

General Comments:

considering the weather conditions which included 2 degree temps at night, gale force winds and persistent rain the lake fished okay.

I fished left of the lake of Willows, had 21 fish including:
The beautiful 65.5lb common
1x 40
6x 30s
6x 20s
8 mid to upper doubles

My pal fished had a round of 10 fish with the biggest being 41lb

General Comments:

Had a great week and a fish of a lifetime which is my new PB!
Great lake, great village and Bruno is a lovely chap who is always there if needed.

Details of your catches:

Two of us booked the lake exclusively, tough week for me personally. 48hrs in the right of Willow (lost the coin toss so my mate fished the left) resulting in one 22 08 common.
Moved into Apple Tree for 48hrs resulting in 2 bream(huge) and a tench
Moved again into singles and finally caught up with some carp....
Ended the week with 8 carp, best 41.12, the rest 20s and one 31.01 common.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Don't ignore the bay to the left side of the left single swim,fish were boshing every night I was in there and had 2 carp from the far corner in 5ft of water.
The most productive spot was fishing to the right of the big green bush on the far margin from the left single,8 takes/6 carp banked.
You definitely need an angler in each swim on this lake IMO as the fish will move away from the pressure.
All fish caught on DNA bug.

The cherry on the cake was definitely the 61.1 common on the first night and seeing my friends also catching consistently 👌 🎣

I struggled to get a consistent spot feeding but made it work in the end.
Most bites coming at early hours
And I didn't fish the last night, due to long drive ahead.

General Comments:

3 of us on a lake exclusive we decided between us to split the lake into 3 and have our own space.
A lot of cracking fish come out, maybe not as much as normal due to the cold weather slowing things down but fantastic week non the less.
