About the Lake
The lake contains very little weed or snags and no nuisance species like poisson chat or crayfish, making for an enjoyable fishing experience. There's good depth with 2.5-4 metres on average and the lake bottom is a mixture of gravel, sand and silt.
A little more information on each swim and the main features they offer:
Swim 1 - an open water swim with gravel and sand areas normally fished around 70-80yds.
Swim 2 - a far margin swim with no access to open water
Swim 3 - an under your feet margin stealth swim
Swims 4 & 5 (double) - 4 offers margin to 50yds open water, 5 offers open water access and left hand margin
Swim 7 - left hand margin and open water 60-90yds
Swim 9 - right margin stealth swim
Swim 10 - open water 70-90yds
Swim 11 - open water 30-90yds
Swim 12 - down to marker buoys 80yds
Swim 13 & 14 (double) - both offer open water fishing to 10-90yds
Swim 15 - right margin no access to open water
Swim 16 - open water 40-80yds

It is important to note that whilst swims 1 & 2 and 11 & 12 are not 'true' doubles, they can very much be used as such given they sit very close to each other.
As the lake is limited to 10 anglers, there will always be a couple of swims spare each week which allows a degree of flexibility.
Vehicle Access & Campervans
For all swims, except 13 & 14, you are allowed to drive to your swim to load and unload your vehicle on arrival and departure. Swims 13 & 14 are not reachable by car and are a 50m walk away.
Exceptions will be made for small campervans (eg VW Transporter size), which can be kept behind swims 1, 2, 9, 15 and 16.
Accessibility
Finally for those less mobile or using a wheelchair, whilst none of the swims are designed specifically as disabled swims, we do have swims 9, 10, 11 and 12 which are all relatively flat.
