All three of us had good fishing catching from day 1. We had sturgeon to 150lb, catfish to 111lb, carp to 46lb.

The wrong tactics. Think we over fed. Lots came out from the deeper end of the lake.

Yes. Take plenty of end tackle. A bait boat is a advantage because of over hanging trees.

Your services are superb. You postponed two of our trips because of lockdown with no financial penalties to us. On this trip I had to come home early for personal reasons. I phoned just out of hours explained the situation and I was on the train the next day no problem (thank you again).

General Comments:

I can’t see myself using any other company apart from yourselves. Everything is arranged as it should be, I’ve 100% confidence in your company.

7 x 40lbs + 11 x 30lbs + 18 x 20lbs + 3 x 10lbs + 4 x cats to 18lb 2 x sturgeon 55lb & 155lb

Small baits over baited area, feed little and often, don't dismiss the margins

Were the facilities what you expected?

Toilet, shower clean tidy, power points for charging, fridge and freezers, boilies all available at the south end of the lake Supermarkets a couple of minutes drive away The site security ( 6 geese ) very friendly, love to rummage in your bait if left out, so keep bait out of their reach. There's an old garden barrow available to move tackle to your peg if required, pegs 8 10 11 really, as they have no vehicle access but it's only a short walk.

Were you happy with them?

Yes and Frank the Bailiff is a really nice guy, not the best English speaker but gives it a good go, he uses his phone to translate anything the conversation is struggling with Frank gives you information on your pegs and swims when you arrive, and he is easily contactable if required during your visit.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes we all caught some nice fish, nice location, the swims are not manicured and with it being an old quarry the ground is very hard and you can struggle to get bank sticks in on some pegs so a rod pod was easier to use on some pegs.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes, we have used Angling lines a few times now, never had any problems, customer service on hand and we have amended our trips in the past with no problems.

Nightmare with the toilet in the same room as the shower so if anyone having a shower and a shave had a long wait. Plus the water was very smelly like rotten leaves so not the best.

Over all the Venue was very good, needs some work on the swims if you caught one of the lakes big fish you would really struggle especially on peg one the bank is so high. Frank the Bailiff was great, really nice guy.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes, no problem with that at all.

General Comments:

Overall good trip, shame we didn’t get any of the big fish in the lake, 3 didn’t even catch a fish so no pictures or videos. We all have been coming to France for many years and all caught big fish so a little bit disappointed as you can imagine.
