Day 2 same location 15 wraps out, 5 catches = Total 87.5
Day 3 same location swapped positions 15, 21 catches = Total 233.8 lb
Day 4 same as yesterday swapped back, 9 catches = Total 123.8lb
Day 5 further up towards opening, Lee cast towards oak tree -Lucian to hedge, 8 catches = 135.5lb
Largest out for the week was 29lb.

Would recommend to anyone who is going to France fishing that’s new to carp fishing. Perfection

General Comments:

Fantastic week at Vincons, such a well stocked lake. Alice couldn’t be any more helpful and such a lovely nice lady. Pool was freezing but very clean and well looked after. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Absolutely perfect!

We caught plenty of fish (lost count) lots of action and a fun place to fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Accommodation was basic but we expected that. It was immaculately clean and well ordered. Large cupboard full of mugs, plates, pans, all cooking utensils.
Plenty of gas to cook with. Heating was good (especially as weather was very changeable). The day we arrived the rain came down in sheets, and it was too cold/windy to utilise the outdoor pool. But it all looked very clean.

General Comments:

Vincons was a lovely place.  Owners were extremely lovely people....couldn't do enough for us. They were very welcoming and kind. Supermarket just up the road in the car and we attended a local food market which the owners suggested to us. We would go back.  The little town nearby has a few restaurants - "The Fountain" being English owned - so that was a bonus for us too.

100% Angling Lines are fantastic

General Comments:

We caught near 100 fish, not one 30 or 40lb caught, the fish are very hungry but there is nothing of any size in there, 28lb was the biggest with many other 20lb fish caught

Details of your catches:

Fishing did not disappoint on any of the days , no fishing during the night or early mornings and only really fishing the afternoon into evenings . Average weight around the 25lb mark and we did manage a few over 30lb woth the biggest going 32 lb 10

Overall we must have caught in excess over 100 fish and over 1250lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Far margins for the bigger stamp of fish and in around 3ft of water , the water level did seem low but would make sense with the amount of sun we have had lately

Were the facilities what you expected?

Absolutely and everything you would need for a comfortable stay, Alice could not have been more helpful and the pool area was superb

Were you happy with them?

100 percent and everything required , nice lake , nice fish , nice rooms and nice pool . The weather was on form
Also with some days hitting 40 degrees

Yes both Alice and Angling Lines were superb and helpful all the way through our stay. Angling lines were brilliant and couldn't ask for more
