Fishing did not disappoint on any of the days , no fishing during the night or early mornings and only really fishing the afternoon into evenings . Average weight around the 25lb mark and we did manage a few over 30lb woth the biggest going 32 lb 10 Overall we must have caught in excess over 100 fish and over 1250lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Far margins for the bigger stamp of fish and in around 3ft of water , the water level did seem low but would make sense with the amount of sun we have had lately

Absolutely and everything you would need for a comfortable stay, Alice could not have been more helpful and the pool area was superb

Were you happy with them?

100 percent and everything required , nice lake , nice fish , nice rooms and nice pool . The weather was on form Also with some days hitting 40 degrees

Yes both Alice and Angling Lines were superb and helpful all the way through our stay. Angling lines were brilliant and couldn't ask for more

Caught 88 fish between and that’s with no night fishing and not fishing a couple of hours in the afternoon to go swimming with the kids

The hosts are lovely the lake and surroundings are beautiful, have been before and will be going again.

We caught that many we lost count it was non stop action!

Spod or bait boat and a snowman rig i found yellows worked for me but they all caught

The chalet was clean and tidy, we had facilities for cooking which was handy.

Happy, but a few crayfish were hitting are bait a lot.

I think if it had a feeding plan and the smaller fish netted, would let the other bigger fish grow, as most of the fish where between 20lb 26lb average
