Overview
Escape to Ilot, a picturesque 4-acre gravel pit that offers an affordable lake exclusive for just a couple of anglers. It is home to impressive carp to over 59lb, including some truly beautiful scaley mirrors. From the large double swim you can access the tree-lined margins and central island.
Your holiday is made even more comfortable with the simple wooden cabin, included in your booking. Positioned just steps away from the main double swim, inside you'll find:
- A small but functional kitchen
- A dining table for your meals
- A comfortable double sofa bed, along with a single bed that includes an additional pull-out single bed
Whether you use it as a cosy place to sleep or just a relaxing space to cook, dine, and socialise, the cabin provides added comfort and convenience - leaving you with less to pack and more time to focus on the fishing.
Overall, Ilot strikes an excellent balance of challenge and accessibility, offering a rewarding fishing holiday for anglers of varying experience. Situated in the Champagne region, it is just under 4 hours drive from Calais and managed by the well regarded French FOX consultant Constant Lebel, who you may recognise from his other very successful venue Fullys Lake.

"14 fish between us. All beautiful, pristine fish including 2 x 50's! This is a really good lake, loads of water for two anglers to fish. Cabin is a great idea - just bring a sleeping bag. Fishing is straight forward, we had some nice weather and it fished well. Both of us came away with new PBs."
