Ilot Facilities
Ilot is an excellent choice for those looking for Carp Fishing France with a Lodge. Tucked away in one corner of the lake, right behind your double swim, you’ll find two wooden cabins designed to cater to your needs.
Cabin 1: Your Living Space
This simple open-plan cabin boasts a stunning view of the lake, and because of its proximity to the water, it is no problem to fish at night whilst sleeping in the cabin. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a hassle-free stay:
Kitchenette: Equipped with a double gas stovetop, coffee maker, pots, pans, plates and cutlery
Refrigerator: A small fridge with a freezer compartment
Dining Area: A four-person dining table for meals or socialising
Sleeping Arrangements: A double sofa bed & single bed that includes another pull-out single bed
Power: French plug sockets for small items (don’t forget your adaptors!)
Cabin 2: Your Private Bathroom
The second cabin houses your shower, sink, and toilet.
Additional Important Notes
The cabins are best described as simple yet functional, providing all the essentials and helping to lighten your packing load. The accommodation cabin sleeps up to 4, though please be advised that the space would be tight if doing so due to the size of the cabin and open-plan layout - it does better suit 2.
It is important to understand that the electricity is provided by solar power only. Therefore you must avoid using high-power electrical equipment, such as electric heaters and air fryers, which could overload the system and cause a power outage.
The cabins do not have any form of heating. Please note that bed linen, duvets, pillows, and towels of any kind are not provided, guests are kindly asked to their own. We also recommend bringing extra blankets or warm layers during the colder months.
Phone signal and 3G/4G coverage is good, though this may vary depending on your provider. Please be aware that there is no WiFi available on-site.
Drinking water is not available on-site, but bottled water is available at nearby shops.
From the end of November until the beginning of March there is no running water in the facilities due to freezing conditions (although the toilet can still be flushed using a bucket of water). Solar power remains unaffected.
