Details of your catches:

Ignore the date above we only booked for 3 days and only actually fished for 2 as we left early as we needed sleep!!!! Seven 30's to 38.04. Twelve 20's to 28.03lb. One double at 18lb. Lost 3 sturgens!!!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fished using a bait boat or rowing boat to deliver the majority of Baits or fished with a PGA pag of crush boilies. Fished over pellet which we got at the venue but was expensive at €50 for 20kg and you have to have 20 you can not get 10 etc.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. Been to France fishing 11 times now and just what you need. Very clean shower and toilet block with battery charging facilities. Good to see the use of a boat which helped with snagged fish as you seem to get snagged everywhere even under your feet!

Were you happy with them?

Yes

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes defiantly. This is the fourth time we have used angling lines, one bad trip (now not on their books) and 3 great trips. Maybe could do with a loyalty bonus (wink wink) lol

General Comments:

A very good venue get left to your own devices, a fire pit on each swim to keep the mosses away, water is a clear as you can get, if you go out in the boat you can see the fish moving about in shoals, there are a lot of snags and also some man made gravel bars ( I'm guessing these are to keep you within your swim) but they are very high so only a foot of water above em but we did have a few fish from them.
There is plenty of water for every swim, we was lucky and as we left another lake (rubbish lake but not from angling lines lake) we was already in France and as such had the whole venue but it would have changed our fishing if we had another 5 people at other end of lake as we simply wasn't fishing the water, I'm fact it may have helped to keep the fish moving. That said the fish were not shy and 20 fish for 2 anglers in 48 hours well we wasn't even casting back out at night as we was just too tired and as such booked an early ferry home. Some very beautiful commons and some sturgeon to keep you on your toes.

Details of your catches:

we landed over 45 carp for the week and lost over 15. Biggest was 37lb sturgeon. Carp ranged from 15lb to 36lb average size mid 20lbs.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Big beads of boilies Baitcraft T1 in deeper water away from hard areas or gravel, as crayfish would have your bait. Find the soft clay bottom areas as less crayfish. These were a problem as over night your bait would be gone.

Were the facilities what you expected?

yes, basic but adequate

Were you happy with them?

yes, small toilet and shower but did the job.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

yes, good size lake plenty of fish nice size grass banked pegs

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

yes very good as always 3rd holiday with angling lines

General Comments:

if you want to catch a few then this is the place. Nice clean fish and lots of features to find. Be warned about the crayfish they will have your bait.

Details of your catches:

John caught - biggest carp was 35.03 lb mirror, 36lb 08oz and 36lb sturgeon, smallest was a 25lb mirror.

The lads had a total of 35 fish other feedback to follow.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Difficult start as the fish did not want to know the larger boilies, used small 8mm with whole and crushed Liver flavoured boilies and the fish started to come. Cast out with PVA bags.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes - great

Were you happy with them?

Yes

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
