Just a tough week, no carp for anyone all week

7 anglers 2 sturgeon no carp unfortunately not a good week tried all tactics Including zigs but no runs left lake early went to another lake where me and my pal caught 6 a piece luckily holiday wasn't spoilt but blue lake was a disappointment

Lake looks nice, bankside good all round, just picked a bad week that's fishing

We landed loads of fish, plenty of 30s, plenty of 40s including a few at the high 40s and 3 x 50lbers

Slip D rigs on the OMC Lock hooks, topped with Mainline Fruity Squid wafters with a maggot head on each of them. Over a bed of soaked Mainline Essential cell and Willy Worms red maggots.

Yes, this lake looks stunning, the fish are unreal and I will definitely fish here again.

Fantastic weeks fishing, 1x63lb, 7x50s and plenty of 40s and 30s. All in 70 plus fish
