Great looking lake

8 adults and 2 kids. Carp from 27lb to 46lb. Sturgeon from 50lb to 91lb. (several PB’s broken) Top catches - George Fowler 46 mirror. Matty King 91lb sturgeon. Shayne Sanders 85lb sturgeon. Barrie Fowler 43lb mirror.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Most fish caught at long range and at night. Several types of boilies and plenty of maize/corn some on standard rigs and some on Ronnie rigs.

The lake exceeded expectations. The facilities, washroom etc requires thinking about.

General Comments:

If the washroom, toilet and general amenities were upgraded, this would, I believe, be one of the top French venues. A meeting point-pagoda-bbq would be fantastic set on the opposite side of lake to washroom, similar to some other popular venues in France. Supermarket very close and sell everything you would require.

71 fish between us, 4 sturgeon to 86lbs, 2 40lb carp, grass carp to 32lbs and several 30lbs

General Comments:

Toilet and shower was a bit small, we all thought there should be some kind of platform in each swing to release the fish properly and safely
On the bright side the local penguin was a great mascot in peg 7 ,he also enjoyed a trip round the lake in the bait boat

Nice well kept lake, good facilities, good fishing, can be tricky at times but overall good lake, will be coming again
