Paul in Swim 1 - 3 x Sturgeon - 47lb, 59lb and 61lb.
Also caught 3 x Carp - 21lb, 30lb and 31lb.
Ben in Swim 3 - 8 x Carp - 1 x 37lb Common and 7 x 20's.
Tony in Swim 4 - 4 x Carp in the 20's and a 62lb Sturgeon.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

A big bed of bait, including chopped boilies and hemp. Larry's Bait - 20mm boilies. Quality Baits - HG47 20mm..
Simple blow back rigs topped with yellow corn.
I would advise pre ordering their own maize, so you get it on arrival at the lake.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes - been before a few times. Always have running hot water and the facilities, although fairly basic, are exactly what you need for a drive and survive venue.

Yes. Angling Lines are an excellent provider of this type of fishing holiday. Been with them multiple times and nothing is ever too much trouble. The girls in the office have great knowledge of the venues.

General Comments:

We had 4 other anglers on the lake for the same week as us. They were very noisy, shouting across the lake to each other. Also driving around the lake at all times of the day and night, even as late as 1.30am. They needed to show a bit more respect for their fellow anglers.

General Comments:

Really hard week with strong winds and torrential rain lots of mud in the swims, fish fed mainly at night.

Lots of fish towards the deeper end of lake 8 anglers 50-60 fish roughly maybe more.
Lots of 30s 1 x 40 and few sturgeon biggest 70lb

Bait boats to tight spots in deeper section. Particle seemed to work well. Standard rigs. Although soft mouths. Decent Boilies and pellets all works
